Life Transitions Counselling

Counselling can support you through changes that affect identity, relationships, routines, work or your sense of direction.

What counselling may include

  • migration, relocation and cultural adjustment
  • career, education or retirement changes
  • relationship, family and caregiving transitions
  • health, grief and identity changes

A tailored approach

Your counsellor will work with you to understand what has changed, what matters now and which next steps fit your needs, goals, preferences and pace.

Support through change and uncertainty

Life transitions can be chosen, expected or sudden. Even a positive change can bring mixed emotions, uncertainty, changes in routine and questions about identity, relationships or direction.

Counselling can provide space to process what has been lost, clarify what matters, strengthen coping and gradually build a workable way forward. The focus is adjusted to your context, culture, responsibilities and current capacity.

Common life transitions

  • migration, relocation and rebuilding a sense of belonging
  • career change, education, retirement or loss of a familiar role
  • separation, divorce, new relationships or family changes
  • health changes, caregiving responsibilities, grief and identity shifts

When a transition also involves medical, legal or other specialist needs, your counsellor can discuss appropriate referrals and coordination with your consent.
